Askrigg School Letters - a cultural exchange

Yesterday, Elin and Jess presented letters written by some of the students in Askrigg School to the students in Amala primary school. The children here read the letters and then drafted their own replies before writing them formally. It has been interesting to compare the two different cultures here. One child here described their favourite animals as a peacock and a parrot, another a dog and a tiger.

I have taken a video of the children reading the letters and will hopefully show it to the children in Askrigg at the start of term.
